Email Alerts(6 December 2021 – Hong Kong) Vinda International Holdings Limited (“Vinda International”, together with its subsidiaries, the “Group”, Stock Code: 3331) is pleased to announce that Hong Kong Quality Assurance Agency (“HKQAA”) has once again awarded the Group with the “Outstanding Award for Green and Sustainable Loan Issuer (Fast Moving Consumer Goods Industry) - Visionary Sustainability-linked Loan Performance Metrics” at the Hong Kong Green and Sustainable Finance Awards 2021. The Group is the first fast moving consumer goods (“FMCG”) company in Hong Kong to be granted a sustainability linked loan, recognising the Group’s outstanding contributions in sustainable development. Ms. Karen Li (“Ms. Li”), the Group’s Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director, was also awarded the “Leadership Award for Green and Sustainable Finance Development” in recognition of her outstanding governance and leadership in Vinda International’s progress in sustainable development.
ESG has long been an integral part of Vinda International’s business strategy, with sustainable development among its core guiding principles. The Group actively prioritises corporate social responsibility while offering high-quality hygiene products and services, and strives to balance business and sustainability. The outstanding performance of Vinda International in green business is also attributable to Ms. Li’s leadership. Ms. Li formulated the Group’s five-year sustainable development blueprint, covering energy savings, emission reductions, green supply chain, sustainable procurement, and caring for employees and community, which drives Vinda International’s business growth in sustainable ways.

The Hong Kong Green and Sustainable Finance Awards 2021 recognises enterprises with outstanding achievements and contributions in sustainable development, and those promoting the long-term development of green and sustainable finance. The HKQAA’s “Organisation Award” and “Individual Award” respectively recognise corporations that issue green and sustainable financial instruments in Hong Kong, and leaders who promote green and sustainable finance to support Hong Kong’s development towards a green and sustainable finance hub in the region.
